Manual swap

Hello, I have 2002 ph2 clio 1.4 16v with an auto gearbox and I want to swap it to a manual. My plan is to buy a second clio for spare parts but most of them are 1.2 16v, so I was wondering if the gearbox from the 1.2 fits on my 1.4 or if there's other boxes that are cheap to fit on my clio. Thanks!

Sell the auto clio and buy a manual one and spend the time saved with family or in the pub or wanking and remind yourself regularly what a better idea that was.

Well, I'd like to keep this clio as a project that I build myself because I grew up with this car so selling it isn't really an option for me 😅
