Mass Storage Device, link to tv?

Hi folks. Was looking for help finding a big storage device that i can put videos/dvd's and music from my computer onto and be able to have it next to my tv and playing the movies onto it?.

Anyone know where i'd find such a thing?

Ive used several different units like these and they really are a good alternative to a Media Centre. Much cheaper as well.

theres loads of hardware like these just make sure u can upgrade the firmware as things like divx xvid codecs are allways changing.

i have looked into version in past but after readups ppl were still having problems with things like compatability.

The missus bought one of those from a shopping channel last week, she paid about £125 for it though, works well, and has a snazzy remote that clips underneath the unit.
