Quick question is there any point in the plenum being ported and matched or
just the lower ones needed thanks people

They match the lower to the upper.

Ok thanks and also are the 172 and 182 ones the same?

No 172 and 182 inlets are different. 182 inlets are pretty well matched from the factory look for the "R S" stamp on the lower inlet once you remove the fuel rail guard.
This indicates the better matched inlets
