Matt or gloss ?

The wheels are gettin a refurb and a lick of paint but what to go for matt black or gloss black ??

Id go for semi matt seriously there are few shades between matt-gloss, I find matt and gloss to much either way.

you mean satin black?

i painted my wheels satin black and they look great. i find with gloss black wheels your tyres always look dirty

mine are satin black with no clear coat. when theyre really dirty and cant be washed anymore, just spray them again

after 18 months and 4 trackdays on mine, theyre hardly chipped, the rears are slightly but thats mostly because of the stones kicked up from the crappy lanes around here

I've done a few on mine and are used hard on the road on dodgy roads with gravel etc on and are fine!

matt , satin, semi matt, semi gloss, gloss... how it goes iirc. Satin and semi matt are similar but slightly diff.(semi matt is closest match to a factory steel wheel colour). You could always try powder coat much tougher finish.
