Matte Black Caliper / Drum paint

  RB One Eight Two
I'm wanting to paint my rear brake drums matte black, but I can't find anywhere that sells a matte black paint. Can anyone help me?

Many thanks

satin black halfords standard paint in a spray can and their grey primer works a treat... mine came up from rusty to a really smooth... low gloss finish.... they looked really good and lasted nearly a year till i sold the car without a breakthrough of rust.... they don't get hot really...

Does anyone consider painting callipers chavy at all? As I am tempted but not sure painting standard callipers has the same impact as getting a real pair of Brembos... what do you all think?

Yep as above -Depends what colour, I always match the factory colour the best I can, just looks clean and fresh then.

Have you done yours mate? If so d you have any images? I normally like the standard look unless I upgrade the part to something better.

Not needed to do mine yet - will mix up silver and black hammerite when I do them. Have some of the old 306 kicking about somewhere.

Cool be interested to see them if you find them. Is it a big hassle taking all your wheels and stuff off though when you do them? Just seems like a big job - but then again setting up a Phohobucket account did hehe...

Factory colour on Pug Calipers was gold hence the paint choice. Black with a touch of silver in it would be my choice on yours.
