Maxogen with samco hose?

  RB & LY 182
Ive bought a maxogen and im picking it up this sunday i was just wondering can i fit it with a samco hose or not?

if so is there a benefit or will it just be better or easier with the hose that comes with the kit???

i did a search before posting this thread but couldn't find an answer!

thank you

As long as the samco hose is the correct one, with the breather pipe, then yes. Nothing wrong with the ITG elbow.

Smooth pipes flow better and the Maxogen elbow has a few nasty deep ripples in so on the geek side of it the Samco technically should flow better but in reality bet theres not a jot of difference so probably only worth doing for the look factor

ha yeah i suppose if can get 1 at the right price maybe i will!

although no essential

You dont want the samco hose specifically for the clio as thats got the breather inlet. Best bet would be the SFS elbow JMS are selling and a brether filter.

Search button has brought me here for a slight problem with my Maxogen elbow

My breather hose keeps slipping off the back of the plenum

Anyone know a quick fix?
Cheers!

I still have my ITG one but the breather hose only just reaches the oil breather.
Probably why it keeps slipping off :(
