Media Center and XP

Probably, but I doubt there is much point as Media Center is basically XP with some add-ons I think. You might as well just use Media Center for everything unless you have a specific need to have separate installs
 
MediaCentre is just a seperate set of AddIns for XP. Its XP Home+

You can create a hack version of MCE from XP with a little work but you might aswell just install MCE and make it NOT auto-load the Media software after boot, much simpler.

That is what i will do, i didn't know you could do that. Is it easy as in a menu or do you need to hack it?

its not xp home ;) its actually built on pro with bits removed
 
I have dual boot setup with with xp home edition and Mce 2005... Mce is very specific with hardware and drivers though.
