put my new shoes on at the weekend mate, what a difference, they are ace!

I am trying to buy a hundred odd, so will see what the best price I can get is.

If there is no big saving, I wont bother.

Similar to last time to be honest price wise.

MICHELIN tyre maker extrordinaire :D

Dont think many F1 fans would agree with you there ;)

Does anyone know if these work well on standard 15" 172 m1 alloys? Are the sidewalls stiff?

How did you go about getting that job Stu? if you dont mind me asking? sounds interesting....

Deffo saving for a set of PE2s next, I take it they will have the same rim protection as the Goodyear F1s in 15s?

My dad handed in an application form for me, got the interview and that was that...........you would be surprised how a tyre is actually made..............for a start there is approx 38 parts in each tyre............just some trivia for you there :D

Cya Stu

And the bonus is FREE tyres as and when you need them. :D..............for one car only and that car has to be in your name

Cheers Stu, long way but thanks

Id be really interested in seeing the factory etc

Cheers

you cant "buy" the red dot ones from any supplier, as they will not know what you are on about.

205 45 16 is what I am talking about in terms of size.

Cost - about £5 more than the group buy we did last time (as I lost money on it as the prices went up by a few quid) :-(

Some of the tyres from the last group buy had the red dot on. Phunky_Monkey was at the ring with these tyres on. Anyone that went in the car noticed that it gripped like a limpet. Noticable better than the other Clios it was a 182 cup only mod front strut brace.

I take it the red dot is found on the cup supsension tyre? Any clarification from Renault about this?

Official line from Renault is:-

red dot = cup tyre

green dot / line non cup tyre.

For me 3 of one and one of the other is a bit dangerous.

the ones i bought a few months ago from mytryes had the red dot like the original tyres. The latest batches dont have any dots on them, not green or red.
