Driving around Lincoln I'm so sick of people doing 10mph while you watch the rest of the traffic driving off into the distance, and people NEVER use indicators

I have no idea how modded car owners get such a bad rep - it's the "normal" people who are utter tossers

Driving to work today and I'm following a middle aged bloke in a jaguar estate diesel with a kid in the back and wife in the front
He doesn't indicate ever - at a set of traffic lights he was on the left hand side doing walking pace with no indicator - I was turning right - last minute he just turns right nearly wiping me out

He then proceeds to do 10mph with me shaking my head (and I want to point out I'm in my 306 daily drive not the Clio) - so I indicate and go to overtake him - he then NAILS IT - black smoke everywhere

f***s sake - so I pull back in and follow him - we get to a train crossing and as soon as I'm on the crossing he stops leaving me parked on the railway lines - then gives me two fingers

So I get out the car and he then drives off
So I get back in and set off again - next set of lights he stops - I stop behind him - and then he starts reversing at me!
WTF????

And the stupidest thing is he acts suprised when I got out the car and started punching his drivers side window and trying to drag him out the car

I just don't get people these days - driving is a nightmare. Anything other than track driving is less fun than having teeth pulled

I don't at all - I used to be terrible for it - but these days I just drive around with music on in a car worth £300 and don't give a f**k

The driving off while I was trying to overtake didn't bother me - even not indicating I'm getting used to - but I'm sorry forcing me to park on a busy railway line (Lincoln central) and then reversing at me is the equivalent of someone in a train station pushing you onto the line and then running at you

If that happens you knock the f**k out of them whoever you are

People think that if they're in a car they can act like a total arsehole with no consequences - it drives me nuts

Being a railway crossing, it's a little more serious and I believe they are always covered by CCTV?

Saying the Police won't do anything is not justification to get out of your car and start punching other cars, trying to drag their owners out etc. It's just a fast track way to lose your licence and potentially end up in prison.

If you cannot control your temper, the best solution is always to simply remove yourself from the situation.

I wouldn't have got out of the car though, these things arent worth getting a broken nose over. Probably the reason I've never really had a run-in with another driver.

I only get things like, yesturday a guy in a Merc was getting pissed off because I wouldn't break the speed limit for him (40mph dual carriageway). It finished with him angrily undertaking and that was that. 3 miles on I pulled up to the same roundabout as him. Zero progress.

If he undertook you, I doubt it was your speed that was the issue, but rather the fact you were sat in the outside lane while there was clearly space on the inside.

I can see why you would be pissed off, but getting out of your car to confront him knowing his wife and kid is in the car will earn you nil 'cool' points. Like allready said remove yourself from the situation and laugh about it afterwards. Its funny with the whole getting out the car to confront someone business, if you do it repeatadly i can one million percent you will confront the wrong person and get owned either there and then or at a later date

I'm like wtf, your telling me to f**k off for your inability to follow the highway code because your in a rush?? Do me a favour!!

Window wound down and I asked him what his bloody problem was and why he failed to stop and then tell me to f**k off, his reply was your only using "my" road as a short cut and I'm in a rush

On a 100 yard stretch of road on which I needed to be in the outside lane at the end of it, at the speed limit, with a speed camera... its not an issue.

The fact he stopped on the rail crossing is irrelevant at this point, as nowhere in the law does it allow for someone to take violent action in revenge.

Exactly this - there was no cars for 150 yards in front of him and I was following at normal stopping distance behind him - he anchored on unexpectedly. I didn't hit him but did end up right up his bumper and the car behind up mine due to the unexpected emergency stop

I wouldn't go onto a railway crossing with no exit!!

Its not a civil offence at all otherwise it wouldn't be arrestable under SOCA. I'm not saying you wouldn't get a caution in the end for it

That's not all the act but I would say that this bit applied to your behaviour, that's how it would be viewed especially with a child in the car, imagine the fear a child would have if someone is trying to get to his dad in the car.
