Midlands 182 Servicing Costs

Having started to get my finances in order after shelling out for the car and rent on a house, I have started to wonder how much a 12,000m service for my 182 would be and here goes....hope this helps someone, all costs are for a 182 with aircon and included all parts and labour ( I have a supply of oil hence the -cost)

Shilton Motors, Hinckley - £194 (- £25)

Sutton Park, Chester Road, Sutton coldfield - £225 (- £30)

Sutton Park, Warwick - £238.41 (- £39.50)

Sutton Park, Rugby - £220.41 (- £38.50)

Sutton Park, Tamworth - £240 (- £30)

Renault Birmingham, Digbeth - £228 (- £27)

Sutton Park, Burton on Trent - £250 (-25)

I cant get over the fact that all the Sutton Park garages have different service costs!

Are there any renaultsport specialist centres?

(I didnt get a quote from Sutton Park, Coventry as the guys in the service department have been slated on here for scratching cars.)

I had mine done last week at Renault Birmingham. Have another word with them as thats not what they charged me. I paid £181 without the air filter being done. With it they quoted me £190 something. That was with the air con thing being done.

I used to get my 16v and, towards the end of its tenure, my 172 serviced at Speacialised Renault Services in Attelborough (Nuneaton). Although they arent a peformance Renault speacialist they are helpful and very cheap on genuine Renault parts, they sorted out a used ECU for my 16v when that got fried, and a nearly new centre section and back box for the 172 at considerably less than anywhere else.

Apparently the prices have just gone up.....that was the official line. I have that DVD for you at my mum and dads. Will bring it to the Feb meet if your still going. (Still no new phone!)

I had a courtesy call from them the other day. I told them I wasnt 100% happy as they failed to carry out all the work I requested.

Had my 1st service on my 172 done at cedar motors barwell(just outside hinckley) £134 + vat and that was with a courtesy car. Oh and i supplied oil.
