Might buy a Clio tce sx

Going to go look at a 2007 Clio TCE sx 1.2 soon and just wondered if anyone has driven one and can tell mme what they are like and what to expect.

Hi mate,

I've got a 1.2 TCe and to be honest, it's not as bad as I thought it would be, I went from a 2.6 down to it and was expecting it to be terrible but I've had it 4 months now and so far it's been a good little car. Feels nippy around town but as soon as your on the motorways you can feel it's a bit slower. But like I said that's me coming from a 2.6 so always had the power at my disposal.

Take the test drive and decide if it's right for you!

Awesome thanks, I'm not after massive speed otherwise I would buy a sport. I want a cheap to insure and economic sporty car and the sx looks perfect! Does the turbo do much being only a 1.2? Can you feel/hear it?

You do feel the turbo giving the car "a little extra pull" so to speak, to me its mainly noticeable in 3rd/4th gears. You can hear the turbo but its very faint. The above reasons are exactly why i moved to the 1.2 TCe, economy and insurance.

they go extremely well when remapped ive had a shot of one and a few blasts with it against my 200!
