I dont usually keep cars very long, but Ive had the V6 for almost 2 years now. I just cant seem to part with it.

The new V6 255 is already far too common, so Im a bit stuck

Had the 16v for 5 years now! Done just over 60,000 miles in it, and gotta be honest still love it to bits.

Although new car is on the cards this year, however the 16v will be staying.

Trying to keep this car for 3 years (cos of finance owed), although Ive only had it for 1 and now want a 172.

Just passed the 1 year mark for my Willie - only 3 more months to the record for my longest car owned. Lasting 5 years would be impossible for me tho.

Heh - on the twentieth ill be at the 1 year mark with my valver which is the longest ive ever owned a car - all the others have either been crashed or too uneconomical to repair!

TBH i cannot see me ever selling it - its one of the few cars ive ever been in where i can honestly say i love beyond belief! Sad i know....

Ive had various Mk1 Clios since 1995 and can assure you that certainly the Mk1 will easily do over 100k and be in pristine condition if you look after it. Cant see a Mk2 being any different.

Ive found that lots of wear relates to age rather than mileage: my 1993 Willy with 58k on the clock is having all the jobs my old 1994 16V had done at 105k miles.
