£80 and you get a USB cable with no power supply. Nintendo have obviously looked at the mini nes and decided to milk this one even more.

I'm pretty sure it runs off USB power.

Would be a bit daft if they sold it without a power supply

Also got one from there mate! Frustratingly the price has went up a tenner on smyths from yesterday!

I had the nes classic but it was quite poor(game selection). This one seems much better

That was odd, if I searched by my local store it only let me pre order from a few stores. If I didn't search i could pre orde from any.

We always had 3 or 4 consoles in the house growing up, we were gaming daft and ironically gamed less after the dreamcast and online gaming on PS2 was born. Was always more fun with other folk in the same house etc rather than online for us.

100% mate, even though me and little un have the xbox, playing minecraft over the ehadset just isn't the same.

I pre ordered the nes classic last year. Games were fairly woeful on it. Looked on eBay and couldn't believe the money they were going for so just sold it on. The snes however is on a different level games wise. Can't wait to get it and give it a go

Nope, click on the link @Chris V6 255 posted and don't search for your local store just scroll through the list until you find your store.

Edit: Nope you are right, all gone out of stock again. Keep trying, I had the same as you and managed to get one eventually.

What's annoying is I work nights on a Monday so I had the best chance of grabbing one but when the Game website went down I just kept my eye on that - at one point it was that goosed I had 4 in my basket!

I think it's the faffing about trying to output the screen image that will be a bit of a ballache these days. Having the HDMI out of this new console will be a major bonus!

Only place I've found them in stock is GameStop, in Ireland... £8 delivery to UK mainland. Considering buying one just to make a profit because I'm a (broke) arsehole.

Im annoyed. They didn't tell you when they would release it. Signed up to hear from Nintendo and still no email about it.

Sold out in 20 minutes or something silly on their site. Talks of a further release. The pre order for the nes was available a year and could order up to the day. SNES panic released and lacking stock already. Nintendo are idiots. Yes im being silly.

^^^ They'll not mess this one up, Star Fox 2 is a massive coo for them, they'd be mad to limit the amount of people who can play it. I also think they didn't expect the nes to be such a hit, it wasn't a monster seller in it's day.

Not sure exactly why.. but i looked on smyths & pre-ordered one!.
mrs will kill me.. kids will love me. (until they realise it isn't a switch)
They're too good at the modern games, i'm with Mace.. they need to be shown who's the boss on street fighter 2. (no doubt they'll win that too!)

The original was one of the hardest arcade games I played - I can't imagine this would be any easier?!
