Missing the 182 so...

Very bored without anything fun to drive for the last 7 weeks, so I thought I'd share where the car's at with anyone that cares.

All the mechanical repairs are done and I'm just waiting for the bumper to be sprayed after some light scuffage that resulted from the curb impact.

As I had some cup racer brake ducts sitting around I thought I'd ask the bodyshop to put them in and pay a little extra outside of the insurance costs. The bodyshop now dislike me somewhat as I neglected to tell them that they might not be a perfect fit. After a few discussions with them about the fitment they decided to try and make them look nice (I wasn't too fussed as long as the ducts do their job).

Anyway, here's how they currently look prior to rubbing back and painting...

Despite the fact I think they look quite neat in the bumper I don't want them the same colour as the car and have asked them to paint them black, so this photoshop has been sent to them to work on as a rough guide...

Whilst there at it I've asked them to sort the black strip on the bumper I've wanted to do for ages. To give an idea...

Hopefully it'll be finished Monday or Tuesday. I'll post up pics when it's back.

Smart. You need to colourcode the splitter to the black on the grill...But prepare for it to chip.
