Mk 1 lights

If I wanted to get rid of the orange glow in my front indicators would I have to buy a whole new light or is it possible to open them up to get the orange plastic thing out? Had a look today but didn't want to end up breaking them if the light unit wasn't meant to come apart!

I've had a look, you can't get them apart wihtout breaking them, that i can see.

Only place that i've seen clear ones is k-Tec

i have clear ones on mine already, were there when i bought it...i must be lucky

Well in that case I'm glad I didn't try ripping them apart then!
Now I do want to get rid of the orange glow, I have some silvervisions waiting to go in.
These lights from K-tec http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=221 look like they have the orange bit in still.
But I can't tell about these ones - plus these ones are cheaper http://www.potn.com/-_c2553_3195_4509_6676_p2230458.htm
What do people think?

u can cut them yellow bit apart and remove it with long ended pliers... freebone did it...
