Mk 2 interior into a Mk 1??

Been asked a question about my interior on eBay (http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZdinger207QQhtZ-1)

he wants to know if mk 2 interior would fit into he's mk1. never heard of it done and i imagine it cant be, anyone else back me up on that?

It can be done, the mk1 with the 172 had it all in. Will take ALOT of work tho

I used to have that interior too! Yeah they will fit but need lots of work and sit really high
