Mk1 172 - Standard Alarm

Went out to the car this morning, unlocked "her" and the alarm made 3 chirps. Can anyone tell me what that means?

not sure on mk1 but it means the alarm has been activated, but if its anything like the 182 alarm it will play up

Mine randomly makes these chirps when arming/disarming, god knows why!
