mk1 172 throttle body?

can this be fitted to a later model or will the ecu mess about as its not controling its position?

you can run a mk1 172 cable on a fbw post 2001 172 but you pretty much need a new ecu, cable pedel and icv etc etc.

not much point as the cost of it is not far off a TB conv lol

It can be done just a lot of work people go for throttle bodies or stand alone ECU plus other mods.
There a kit out though for the Cup/172 group N racers but its £600+ plus its not a Renault parts so getting its a bit of a pain.

Hill power I think are making a conversion kit best drop them a line. Not sure which way the've gone about it though as there a few ways to sort it potentially. They've converted one car already.
