mk1 colour coded side strips.

Can someone please tell me what year/model had colour coded side strips? My ph1 has crap black ones and I want to change them for something a bit nicer.

Any help much appreciated

Dont reckon any came colour coded! but personally i prefer em black! dunno why, just do like!

yeah, i prefer em black. especially as my car is white. i think im about the only person who prefers the ph1s to the ph2s though

OK. A more general question then, at what point were the rounded side strips introduced?

Whereas on the other hand i think mine looks much better wiht the side strips painted:

Might be because your bumpers arnt colour coded - if they were I think it may look overly white if you know what I mean... Looking good though!

Id go for the colour coding, tempted to do it just not sure about matching the colour! I wanna go all the way tho and get rid of the RT badges so people think its just a dressed up RL
