Mk1 Exhaust Hangs...

  Clio mk1 rally :P
Hey

a few months ago i had to fit a new exhaust. but ever since i got it done it seems to hand in the middle.
i went back today and told them so they took the car up and un did some bolts ... put more in.. then
gave the car back sayin it was all done

unfortunatly its not ..... this is what it looks like now.

is there any way of solving this? is this common?

thanks DM

The exhaust on the valver I had years ago always hung a bit low, even with new rubbers etc.

Yours doesn't look that low to me, does it catch when you go over speed humps etc ?

you just have to know how to fit them properley if you jack the car up and then loosen of the clamp on the left hand side of the car and then use a jack to lift the exhaust up jack the exhaust all the way up in to the car so it touches the underside and then tighten up the clamp when you let the jack down it should drop down abit and be ok

you can put an extra clamp on it, so it bolts up near the handbrake lever.

mine hung real low too and used to catch on speedbumps until i put the extra one on
