Mk1 Golf Cab

Thought I'd stick these up. Not the best pictures in the world but it's the first time I've used the 50mm outside of the house, granted it's dark and raining (it's always grim up north).

Friend of mine finally got his Mk1 on the road last week. When I met him 2 years ago it was sat on the drive. Now it's finally MOT'd and road worthy after getting the mechanicals sorted last summer.

looks good! what engine is he running in it?

It's the standard 1.6 (might be 1.8). He's not planning on changing the engine for a long time tbh. His main project is his 6n2 GTi that's he's planning on running a BAM engine in, unfortunately due to losing his job that's on hold.

Where are it's bumpers?

It's de-bumpered. He's going to tidy it up eventually. It just needed to be on the road after his 106 quicksilver died.
