whats the best way to get the most from the 1.8 8v engine?

what sort of power would i be expecting from light mods... nothing to extensive

I only put a pro speed de-cat exhaust on mine!!! Felt a bit quicker but my cat was badly blocked before!!:S
Now it's got the spider in it!!!:evil:

You had a prospeed de-cat lol....bet it cost more then £35 delivered lol.

Basic mods really, exhaust de-cat air filter, wrap the exhaust manifold, strip it....anything more then that and you get inot the area of cams, remaps etc

Quite good gains can be had by tidying up the welds in the fanifold
