def go 60 mate, you wont notice much difference with just 40mm, mines 60mm on pi springs and standard shocks

Mine on 35/40mm

Im happy with mine on 40, got uprated shocks too and it drives so much nicer than standard. Also dont have to worry so much about speed bumps as its not too low.

Possibly 40mm but I'm pretty sure they are 35mm. I would go for 60 if you can - doesn't look slammed but doesn't look like a waste of money and time either lol.

Go at least 60mm. Anything less still looks standard. My old 1.2 was down around 80mm on V-Maxx coilies and could still handle the biggest speedbumps and multistorey carparks with no scraping.

This standard.

And this is with 40mm Drop.

Dont get me wrong 40mm is not to high but got to be said 60mm would make a massive difference on appearence but depends on how you like your ride over bumps/pot-holes.

You hit the nail on the head yourself, 40mm will look standard, and plus, lowering isn't illegal, so your dad has no right to say anything really, he may frown upon it, but you're your own person so go 60, you wont regret it:approve:

Its not illegal, but it voids your insurance as I dont have the money to get it covered, thats the problem he has.

I am wanting to lower mine aswell and was originally thinking 40 but you say it doesnt really make a noticeable difference if i dont go to 60 or less right?
also what is a good manufacturer to make it lower and not ride like complete crap
