mk2 boot button fitting a mk1 boot

anyone done thisn, i got a button cheap with surrond, im sure someone has but just wanted some info.

what has to be cut, drilled etc to make a good fit

I think Schweppy did it on his phase 1. Infact i'm 99.9% sure he did.

Its the same bootlid so theres no reason why not!
