Mk2 Central Communication Unit - What is it?

Fighting an electrical gremlin on my 182, and I’m interested to find the “central communication unit”. Does anyone know what it is? And more
to the point where it is?

Do you mean the UCH situated behind the glovebox iirc?

It’s marked on the electrical manual as 1125 “Central Control Unit”. Not sure if it’s really referring to the UCH?

Can only imagine it’s that tbh. What’s the electrical gremlin? Problems with the UCH (or BCM Body Control Module) can do weird things.

Probably easiest if I send a link to the other thread I’ve got going on it, it’s a strange one. I should say that I’ve disconnected the UCH and it makes no difference for my issue.

Radio always on when ignition is off!
