mk2 ph1 center lock

Having problem with center lock.
When I unlock the car by the key, I open any doors to get in but the car doing lock & unlock in the few sec. On the speedo where the red lights is in the middle but it stay on all the time. I can't lock the car with the key cos it not doing anythings. So I have to put the key in turn the power & turn it off to lock the car quick. And also when I turn off the engine & leave for few sec then same happened.

I can't work out what wrong with it

Giles have your tried the spare key? Might be worth a try to narrow the problem down a bit.

yeah I try that & still same problem

it is do with relay box?
