Hi everyone - my MK2 PH1 key has had the electronic board ripped and lost out of it somewhere in its 25 year life, but still has the transponder chip inside to start the car. I have to put my key in to unlock the doors, and before i get out i must click the central locking button to lock all doors, then lock the driver door manually each and every time. I bought a board off ebay, put it into the key and it does not plip. Trying to resync does nothing, and the car does not pick up the key when trying to resync. What is not talking to what, and how do i solve this and get it sorted?
