MK2 PH1 Sports headlights

I’ve noticed that one of my MK2 PH1 Sports headlights is going a bit yellow and according to someone who works on cars professionally, it’s just another Clio fault – the glass turning yellow over time because of the heat from the bulbs. Is this right? Is there a solution, other than not driving in the dark?

Its just a build up of road grime and light scratches over time...you can polish it out using wet and dry paper and polish
