Will a Phase 2 Rear Bumper fit straight onto a phase 1?

Mine didn't (None sport ph2 on to none sport ph1), needed holes drilling in the bumper to match up with the holes under the boot lip and self tappers to attach it underneath. The only ones to fit without correction were one bolt on either side of the car by the arch iirc.
