MK3 Clio 1.4 16v same as MK2 Clio 1.4 16v

Hi all,

Hopefully this is the correct section. Just wondering if the engine/gearbox brakes driveshafts etc. Are the same on the MK3 Clio 1.4 16v as the MK2 Clio 1.4 16v. I've got a mate who has a MK2 that's he's getting rid off so have a chance to get loads of bits for free. Also is there any other bits that are interchangeable that I could take.

My mate has a mk 3 1.4 16v and I'm pretty sure he has hydro clutch instead of cable........
I will check this and the throttle situation when I see him ☺

Just to add to this, my mechanic said they aren't the same.

Also since the weather has been hot it hasn't popped out once which is leading me to believe it the gearbox oil. I'll change the oil and update.
