Mk3 Drivers window playing up

Hello,
Yet another problem on my car,
My drivers side window on my mk3 clio wont 'Auto-up' and if i hold the switch it will only go up around 2" then stop and i will have to release and hold again.
Doing this multiple times just to get it to go up.

Anyone know what is need to resolve this problem?

well if you're getting power, it may be a problem with the regulator? Should be able to hear the cable is funny though.

Although if its just acting odd it may be the control module. Wouldn't know how you'd fix that though, but think it'd be a dealership visit

Is it going up 2 inches after you release the switch, or does it stop just after you release the switch?

My wife's 197 auto up works intermittantly, it's a knackered switch, you can feel a double click when it works!

when i held it up it would go 2 inches then stop even though i carried on to hold it.
Its been amended by holding it up for 10 secs then down for 10 secs. Apparently this did some sort of reset and seems to have worked.
