Can anyone tell me if the gear knob is removable on the mk3s?

ive pulled and twisted at it but dont want to do it too much incase it breaks..

help please

Hope your talking about the gear stick going on about pulling and twisting things. You just turn it, mine came off but required one hell of an effort.

With mine it was a straight up pull. Jump in the back seat put it in 4th and pull

Be interested to hear what you do to the plastic sleeve underneath the gearknob if your changing it.
