mk3 lights

Hi,
will mk3 rear lights fit a mk2? I think the mk3 lights look far better and yet they look the same shape. Is there any difference and if so is it hard to rectify?

I forgot to add that mines a mk2 phase 1 if that makes any difference

mk2 ph2 lights will fit straight onto your mk2 ph1 im doing that myself. you need the lenses and the bulb holders though as the lights are in a different order. you also need to rewire the existing plug, but its really easy. there is a guide to it but the site is on my favourites at work and im at home. i will post the link tomorrow if you like?

when you say fit straight they wont!
how can they possilby fit they are a totally different shape and the bonnet is shaped differently as well as the wings.
