Mk3 Tyre Pressure Question

I was driving to work this morning and when i was going around a roundabout it felt like my back end just wouldnt grip,

i have got 172FF alloys on with 195/45/16 and i have them at 33 at front and 31 at back. Is that enough?

The manual says 36 at front and 33 at back, that just seems a bit too much.

Help would be great!

Mk2 or Mk3? Probably a little too much on a 1.2 mk2 tbh, but not enough to make any difference.
