MediaNav bluetooth

  Renault Clio
Hi all,

First time posting here and I’ve noticed a few similar issues but not too sure anything the same.

I’ve got a 2016 0.9 Clio with the MediaNav system but it’s obviously become quite dated stereo wise now. My main issue is the bluetooth connectivity often taking SO long to get going on start up - the MediaNav recognises my iPhone straight away but will always go “Device is connecting” a good few times before Spotify comes through onto the Nav. It’ll often have phases of me needing to forget and reconnect my phone, and sometimes Spotify will be connected on my phone (showing MediaNav etc on the player in Spotify app) but will play through my phone rather than the MediaNav.

Has anyone else had these issues and what are the best ways to sort it out? I updated the firmware to the newest available a while ago but I’m starting to wonder whether it’s worth just buying a new fascia and getting a Pioneer system. Just worried about seeing a lot of them being very laggy?

Thanks for all your help!

Have you reset the head unit?

I’d just look up XTRONS and see if they had a version available for your car. Decent for the price.
