Whichever has fuel
So last week I had a customer tell me about a mondeo he's had in his lock up since September 2011.
He left it there because it came in px covered in dog hair, dog vomit, and just general ming.
Today I made a good solid start on it but really it's a three day job so i'll come back to it at a later date this week and do some update photos.
Here is the passenger seat. Absolutely covered in mould and dog hair. (The drivers seat was as bad but that's rubbed off on my (now in the bin!) overalls.
So first up I saturated the seat in Autoglym interior cleaner (heavy duty!)
Then I scrubbed like a man possesed with a very stiff floor scrubbing brush and fired up my upholstery cleaning machine.
Half done...
One seat done. 4 to go!
Once i'd done that I undressed myself and threw my overalls in the bin. I then went and washed my hands and arms and put on some clean rubber gloves.
Whilst driving the car inside, I noticed the spot of headlining above the driver... Thick black hair and grease...
Close up. :dead:
Then it was time to start on the carpets. I started and after 10 minutes i'd had enough of the smell so went outside for a coffee and a fag. Whilst pondering the zeros I was going to be adding to this guys invoice, I decided that in for a penny, in for a pound and removed the front seats. Glad I did tbh! (please bear in mind that the whole interior carpet including the boot was like this! Thick with it!)
So that's where i'm at after 8 hours spent on it today!
All the outside washed, engine bay, door shuts, arches etc. All hoovered out, seats washed and the dash mould all scraped off and cleaned.
Effectively, I'll be greeted with a 'normal' mondeo tomorrow ready to have a 'normal' full valet done on it.
I'll update as and when.
