  Clio 1.4
I know i have made like 5 or so threads asking for help on how to get the wiring from the passenger foot area to the battery but i am really having a hard time with it.

im getting my new HU fitted at halfords on monday will he link the HU to the sub n amp if i cant? would he do it if i gave hime £20 more?

if anyone has pictures or tips on the gromet in the foot area i would greatly appreciate it :)

Don't get halfords to fit your stuff mate, they are a bunch of idiots who sweet fa about thier stuff.
I'd go to your local ice (in car entertainment) shop & get them to do it all.

Getting it fitted by halfords will most likely cause more problems than it'll solve tbh. They are a bunch of monkey, you'd be much better off doing it yourself but anyway.

How are you struggling with it exactly? I'll get a pic of mine in a min.

Thats the bonnet release grommet on the left with the power cable going through it. Best way to get it through is to pierce the grommet then lube the cable up with fairy liquid and then apply plenty of brute force and ignorance.

Although tbh as I found out when I fitted my alarm its not that difficult to drill a new hole (you can see the two I added on the right).

Dont let Halfords monkeys near your car.

If your Dad insists, tell him to buy you a fire extinguisher on the way out.

i used to work for halfords and i never had any problems with the stuff i fitted. it just depends on what store you go to. i also fitted all my own stuff and it all works fine.

On the pic I posted those two holes come out in the engine bay underneath the coolant expansion tank. Although i'd still use the bonnet release grommet if you can, what size cable are you trying to get through?

if your only in basildon ill set and fit all your shizzel for a fee, ask rob192, i fitted his for him and he loved it.
