More [late] pics from Combe Action Day

Like many at Castle Combe's Action Day last weekend, we had a very enjoyable day out and made the most of the sunny weather. Our stand was again a mixture of various makes and models but we did have a couple of RenaultSport Clio's on show - including my own Trophy.

During the day it was great to see a good Renault showing (both on the Club stands and on the track) and it was also great to bump into PJ and Fletch during my wanderings around the circuit.

That's Matt Wills trophy, IIRC it's a cup racer replica (or something similar) CF splitter.

Thanks mate, glad you like the photo. I'll let you into a secret... it was not planned (hence the incorrect metering and massive overexposure). I had just fitted the 300mm lens to rush trackside for the early morning session to catch my good lady's father on track and rattled off a few shots as I left the stand. Without checking out the EXIF I couldn't tell you what the settings were mate. A tweak of curves/levels in Photoshop also helped make the image 'pop' a little but the shot pretty much came direct from the camera as seen.

Likewise mate, always good to see a familiar face and spend some time catching up - thanks for the chat! My only regret is that I didn't get more photos of your car and the ClioSport stand in general. That's my fault for getting sidetracked. I promise to try harder next time!
