The joys ! I'll start by trying to rectify my hacking at the cables first then see what happens ! one cable I remember cutting was a twisted set that were joint into the same cable going into obd and to the clip from air bag Ecu?

Purple and white wires by any chance? I remember catching those, don't Think it stopped car from starting though

Problem solved ! Not a clue what it was .. moved a few cables about and it started

Modified my lower dash last weekend to keep the driver side for the speedo and centre clock as it's a road legal track car. I also trimmed the end piece off to tidy up around the fuse box. Need to tackle my loom next.
