Eventually got hold of a cup splitter and fitted it yesterday before I changed my mind about it. I like it :). Just gotta watch those kerbs now...

One of the reasons I've fitted a splitter - to hide the scrapes where a mechanic scraped the front of the car when taking it down from the ramps at Arnold Shark...

Predictions on how long will it last before I first hit it then? :rasp:

I've got to fit mine yet, how did you do it, jack it up?

Trolley jack, axle stands, hammer drill, gaffer tape, about 15 self-tapping screws...

A lot easier when you can get under the car a bit. Hardest part was getting it into position initially - I used gaffer tape to hold it in position while I put in the first few screws. I ended up drilling pilot holes in the sliptter itself, made life so much easier. And I ended up using a lot more screws to hold it on than were supplied with it - better safe than sorry.

cup splitters make an unbelievable amount of difference for what they are.

St Andrews Cross :)

Scottish and proud - the background colour is identical to the monaco blue so all you can see is the white cross
