MOT advisories

  Renault Clio
Hi there.

Car will be due MOT in May, these were reported at the last one. I asked which ones I should get done urgently and the garage said they can all wait until next MOT and take it from there.

However, I would like to get some sorted.
In which order would you do any of these? Group any of them together?

Which ones would you leave to see if causes issues on next MOT?

Sorry am new to cars, have tried to have a read up on it all but it's quite overwhelming.

Thank you for any advice 🙂

  Whichever has fuel
Rear brakes and rear shocks will get rid of 4 of them and the parts are cheap. (Assuming you have a clio?)

I’d be more inclined to see what the oil leak is. If it’s not bad or it’s just a build up of old oil, take all the under trays off and clean it all up. Obviously if it’s bad and leaking, I’d get that looked at first as it could cost a fair bit.

Rear Exhaust joint just wants the joint undoing, cleaning up and refitting.

Brake pipes; clean them up and see what the issue is.
