MOT pass/fail

i got a mk1, ph3 and wacked some front fogs in. However there is no dash light for them on the dash when they are off/on, cos i have the crappy tacho free pannel. so will it fail mot just for that?

remove front fogs, therefore they canot check them

i think it will be mentioned on the MOT results, but will not fail

best ask a garage though, they will tell you for certain

front fogs are not legally required at the mot espacially if they are not standard spec anyway.

ok cheers, i checked the haynes mot test check list and it only said about checking the rear fog light(s) and pannel light, so i shud be ok

might rig up a light anyways tho sometime.

They dont even look at Front Fogs..

I didnt wire mine up till after my MOT and they didnt even try to check them.

Only Rear Fogs are a Requirement.
