MOT Question - RE: Tyres

  BMW 323i Coupe
My MOT is due soon, and two of my tyres are going to need replacing.

The two tyres in question are on opposite sides of the car, one on the back drivers side, and the other on the front passenger side.

I know that when you change your tyres, you should always replace it's opposite tyre, i.e, both back, or both front.

So would the inspector say I'd need to change all four if kept the same, or would they advise me to just change those two?

I would have thought just the 2 that need doing. They only care that the tire is legal tread depth, not bulging and in a road worthy condition.
