I take it rather canny over bumps and the like, I know a few folk with rear springs like this!
Anyways the question remains...will it pass with standard rear and lowered front?

Yeah it'll pass with standard rear and lowered front.

But from memory of when I fitted the springs on my girlfs old Clio, i thought that the standard ones pull out fairly easily when the cars jacked up? Unless thats the lowered springs im thinking of when changing back to standard

They'd only fall out if you didnt have shocks fitted! The standrad ones arent held in differently, but yes it would pass with standard rears.

Im pretty sure (infact almost positive that I didn't have to remove the rear shocks, it was a few years ago though, but it was a 2001 51 plate, maybe they're differant to the mk2 ph1's?
