if front fog lights are fitted, do they need to work? ive got an mot this week and one of my front fogs has blown

yer as long as you have a fog light on the o/s/r your fine, fronts are not tested.

As not all cars are fitted with them, same as spare and rear wiper.

i thought it might be the same as rear number plate lights, some cars only have one from the factory but if you have 2 they both need to work iirc?

yer both number plate lights need to work if they are fitted. But say on some rear lights they have two side light bulbs on each side if ones out it will still pass as that lamp is still produceing atleast 50% of it light.
