What is the law on driving your car to get the MOT done when the MOT & Tax has run out?

my tax and MOT run out in like november as its been off road and declared SORN and i need to drive the car to the MOT test centre.

1) will my insurance still be valid even when drivin to the centre?

2) if the police pull me over am i screwed?

3) To Re-Tax my car as its been declared SORN do i need anything extra apart form the MOT cert and the Insurance Cert?

I think you are ok to and from the test centre, but thats it.

Call your MOT Centre and they should be able to tell you...

as long as its booked in at a test centre you should be. if they pull you u just say it goin for a test and give them details so they can check etc
