MOT TIME

didnt know where to post this so its in here, ive lowered my car 75mm on the front and 90mm on the rear will this pass an MOT as it is being done by renault in the new year? when the car is jacked up the rear springs fall out :dapprove:

The simple answer is no. No way in hell any tester who cares about keeping his job is going to pass a car that the springs fall out on.

no it wont lol....i put my other springs on and raised the front coilovers (jord)

Is it just lowered on springs?? Surely matched shocks should let the suspension travel down so far??

Even if the springa are cable tied on so that they dont fall off? this brings me onto my seccond question if i put standard rear springs on the rear and have 70mm springs on the front will it still fail?

uprated shocks but the springs still fall out they are cable tied on now but there too small lol

Cable ties will scream unsafe car to an MOT tester so I'd say they'd still fail it. As long as the front springs are intact and don't wobble about you should be fine with them.

unfortunatley not when the car is jacked up to a certain height the springs drop out well they did befor they were cable tied on
