MOT!

Took the 172 for it's MOT yesterday,.. 6yrs old with 80k under it's belt and it PASSED!

When the garage rang I was shocked. The car's French AND has now passed 2 MOTs on the run.

Anyone else been positively surprised?

mine passed at 60k as well, usually ties in nicely with a service so no dramas as they say.

Mines been bombproof and well looked after mechanically so that helps alot

mine fails 2 years in a row with headlight beam too high (cos the previous year they put it to numebr 4 and adjusted it, fools) this year failed due to the track rod ends, apart from that i would have passed no probs.

^Headlights! Infuriating that mate.

Mine has FSH etc, and I'm always on top of things mechanical and otherwise, but the first MOT was still a killer. Now it surprises cos I expect the worse

i was surprised that they told me my car had failed. then i negotiated and it passed

My cars first MOT it failed due to uneven brakes and a snapped rear spring:S basically the breaks neaded cleaning.
I thought it would fail its second one but it flew through

Mines 6.5 years old passed last 2 no probs
