Mouldy interior

Hey folks,

I've got 2 cars at the moment and one of them has been parked up at the side of the house under a sheet. I've been checking on it now and again but probably haven't looked at it for a good 6 weeks. I've just gone to get it ready for it's MOT for selling and to my horror it's interior is full of mould! :( I should have kept more on top of it.

What's the best solution? I'm going to give it a proper good clean because I do want to sell it. I've read that white vinegar is a good solution followed by running an Ozone generator?

Pics in the spoiler as it's RANK -

Luckily it's just on my seats and a tiny bit on the dash and door cards/handles. It needs doing properly though as I don't want the new owner to deal with any of it!

I'm just a bit gutted because I was quite careful with it (I even ran a dehumidifier inside before parking it up and it didn't help). Bloody old cars eh!

  Whichever has fuel
White/green mould;

Bowl of hot water, as hot as your hands can cope with.
Clean MF cloth.
Leave the cloth soaking in the water for 10+ minutes.
Wring out the cloth loosely - not dripping but not wrung out fully.
Wipe over interior.
Wipe again with dry cloth.

Put a cheap Maine powered Dehumidifier in it for 24h. (Make sure the car is totally empty, even carpet over mats and parcel shelf)

You’ll be golden.

If it’s black mould; pay someone.

Thanks for the help mate. I don't think it looks like black mould but I really wouldn't know to be honest. I assume that's the dangerous stuff? Definitely looks like white/green mould.
