Mouse has stopped working?

  Nissan Jewk
Got a usb optical mouse (only a cheap jobbie from pc world). Worked fine up until last night. For some reason, I can click and scroll using the wheel, but cannot move the mouse? I don't get it....

Its a Win7 laptop and it recognises the mouse, but says it cannot find a fault? Its a PCL-FL1 model mouse. Can't find any drivers for it anywhere though. Very frustrating as I dont get on with my trackpad :(

Any ideas?

I've highlighted your errors. However, I have a simple fix for you.. http://store.apple.com/uk/browse/home/shop_mac/family/macbook_pro?mco=MTAyNTQzMzk

I fixed my G5 a while back for the same sort of thing - one of the wires had severed in the usb cable, just where it goes into the mouse. Cut, refit internal plug, done.

If it's a cheapy one, don't be a stinge :p
